Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is used in some underhood areas such as windshield washer bottles and radiator overflow tanks. In non-automotive applications, it is used on ATV fenders, kayaks, canoes, dirt bike fenders and gas tanks, motor home water tanks, and agricultural water/fertilizer tanks. Because Polyethylene is very waxy, it is almost impossible to get quality repairs using adhesives. Welding is the best repair method for polyethylene. Polyethylene is naturally a translucent white color. No pigment has been added to make less visible repairs when welding natural polyethylene parts. This package contains 5 ft. (1.5 m) of natural low-density polyethylene (LDPE) strips. Each rod is 1 ft. (30 cm) long and 3/8th inch (9.5 mm) wide by 1/16th inch (1.6 mm) thick.
